What MarketSapien is

MarketSapien is an educational product. It teaches how markets move using a simulated market whose every movement follows a stated rule, together with guided lessons about decision-making and behavioral finance.

By using MarketSapien you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the product.

This is education, not financial advice

MarketSapien does not provide investment advice, financial advice, trading signals, or recommendations about any security or financial product. Nothing in the product is an offer, a solicitation, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.

We are not a broker, a dealer, an investment adviser, or a financial institution, and we do not act in any of those capacities. No part of this product creates an adviser relationship or a fiduciary duty between us and you.

Every instrument shown in MarketSapien is fictional. The names, prices and events are invented for teaching and do not correspond to any real security or issuer. All trading in the product uses imaginary capital.

Decisions you make about real money are yours alone. Consider consulting a licensed professional before acting on any financial decision.

No outcome is promised

MarketSapien teaches. It does not promise that you will trade better, earn returns, avoid losses, or achieve any financial result. We make no claim about performance or outcomes, and any such claim you encounter elsewhere is not ours.

The simulated market is deterministic and a real market is not. Skill demonstrated inside the product does not transfer automatically to real markets, where prices move for reasons the simulation deliberately excludes.

Your account

The mobile apps have no account. On the web product an account is optional and you may use MarketSapien as a guest. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your credential secure and for activity that occurs under it.

Where an account exists, you may delete it at any time from inside the product. We may suspend or end access to an account that is being used to break these terms.

What you may and may not do

You may use MarketSapien for your own learning. You may not resell it, redistribute its content, or present its material as your own.

You may not use MarketSapien to provide financial advice to other people, or represent its output as professional guidance.

You may not attempt to interfere with the service, circumvent access controls, or extract content by automated means.

Content and attribution

The lessons, characters, simulated market and interfaces are ours or are used with permission. The AI guides are fictional characters inspired by historical philosophers.

MarketSapien is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any philosopher, their estate, or their publishers. Historical figures are named for educational purposes under nominative fair use.

Cited works, standards and research remain the property of their authors and publishers. They are cited to show where teaching material comes from, not claimed as ours.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of MarketSapien. If a change materially reduces what a user has access to, we will say so.

The mobile applications carry no purchase path, no pricing, no subscription and no in-app purchase. Every lesson in the app is included.

Liability

MarketSapien is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the product, including financial losses from decisions you make about real money.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
